I've been an artist all of my life, I started drawing freehand pictures of people when I was 8. I was very interested in lines and the human form. I became a professional ballroom dancer/competitor at 18, I had huge success as a show dancer and American Smooth Competitor and performed until 1998. I also still Enjoy dance and yoga. I currently am a RYT with Yoga Alliance and Enjoy teaching Yoga. The dancing, performing, and choreographing helps me immensely in composing my photographs. Some of my fauvorite things to photograph are Glamour and Boudoir, I spent so much time in eyelashes and feathers as a dancer , that genre is just a very good fit for me. I co-managed a children's Photography studio in 2003- 2004 where I also trained staff on photographing babies and children. I started with a Mamiya medium format camera in the studio and also was taught to process film, the pictures had to be processed in one hour! Having a daughter of my own, I understand the importance of capturing a keepstake memory of your loved ones. I shoot with a Nikon D-70, I also have 2 film cameras, I also use for Black and White images. I enjoy using natural lighting for a beautiful effect. I shoot on location, or at a specific place that is meaningful to my clients.
